Whenever I read stories like this one (and the one about Javonte Woods), I'm always conflicted. At the same time I want to respect the family's privacy, I want to know more, for entirely selfish reasons - whether, for example, the Woods son used maintenance meds, whether the hot temps played a role, etc.
At the end of the day, though, "horrifying" is the right word.
I simply adore comments from other parents, food geeks and members of the food allergy community. Please leave me a message! If you are a spammer, scammer or flogger of sketchy supplements or medical treatments, don't even bother. Your comment, no matter how pleasant or innocuous, will not make it out of moderation.
