Calzone Lunchbox

Last night we had pizza, and I saved some dough to make a calzone for today's lunch. (Yes, I sized it specifically to fit in the container.) This lovely dough pocket contains:
  • Tofutti Garlic and Herb Better Than Cream Cheese
  • a touch of tomato sauce
  • thinly sliced zucchini
  • mushroom
  • turkey sausauge
Accompanying it are grapes (again), an oatmeal raisin cookie, apple juice/water mixture, and a seahorse sticker.

How did it go over being cold-ish? I bet the tofutti tasted better being cold than trying cold-congealed-soy-cheese. I'm going to adopt the sticker idea. Thanks

The container came back spotlessly empty and The Kid was thrilled he'd had a "cowzone" for lunch. So room temp went over just fine.

I HATE soy cheeses beyond words but the Tofutti cream cheese is really excellent. It also makes a great instant "mac and cheese" when I stir a spoonful in with hot pasta and veggies.

I love that bentoesque box! I need to find one like that!

(Hangs her head in shame...) I finally did the meme that you tagged me to do 10 years ago. I suck. I'm sorry, but it's done now :)
